Trillium Mutual Insurance Appoints Julie Garner as Board Chair

Congratulations to our friends at Trillium Mutual Insurance as they announced last week the appointment of Julie Garner as their new Board Chair. Julie replaced Ben Rier who has shown amazing advice, counsel and leadership over the years that we’ve had the pleasure of working with Trillium. Ben led the effort for The Planning Group to help Trillium not only define their strategic plan, but also ensure strong mechanisms for Board oversight of the execution. Most importantly, Ben had the foresight to help the Trillium Board of Directors and senior leaders think about how they think. The Planning Group assisted in this “Strategic Readiness” work to assist the Board and leaders to think about how they can be more productive and effective strategists and to better face the strategic decisions that Trillium will make going forward. Julie has had a critical role in setting the strategic direction for Trillium she will provide incredible leadership to the Trillium organization in her term as Chair.

We also recognize Tracy MacDonald whose incredible leadership not only drives the results of Trillium Mutual, but has helped to create a company culture, that is absolutely second to none. Tracy’s passion for her team and for the farm, agriculture and agribusiness communities that Trillium serves is inspiring and at the root of Trillium’s performance. Through this passion and deep expertise, the team at Trillium Mutual have worked closely with their broker partners to bring some of the most innovative insurance solutions available to the agricultural customers and communities they serve. Trillium truly respects their past and is prepared for a bright future.
